Eucalyptol (1,8-cineole) compound contained in eucalyptus oil has the potential to inhibit viral infection pathways, as an antimicrobial and immunoregulator. Therefore, development of oil-based effervescent health drinks is urgently needed relieve symptoms being infected a virus during this pandemic. However, volatility quite high, so nano-based encapsulation method slow release these volatile compounds. This study aims obtain best formula for Eucalyptus citriodora granules with controlled system nanostructure. The experimental design used was Taguchi 3 replications. combination level factors optimal obtained through loss function optimization were materials factor-level 2, lactose/sucralose ratio nanoencapsulated/ascorbic acid 2.
